The Colorado Sun presents “Closing the Gap: a conversation with Colorado’s Black community about homeownership.” Equity reporter Tatiana Flowers is taking her reporting on gaps in Black homeownership — part of the COLab-led Chasing Progress collaborative project examining socio-economic and health equity among Black and Latino Coloradans over the last decade — a step deeper as she talks with a panel of experts about getting the Black community to a place where they have better access to homeownership. Information will include data, anecdotes and more.
This virtual event will take place Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. MST, and is sponsored by the Colorado News Collaborative (COLab) , Black Legacy Project, and Denver Golf Parks & Recreation.
