Colorado, Tell Your Data Story: Combining Data and Stories for Health Equity

Join Colorado Equity Compass for a virtual storytelling workshop: Combining Data and Stories for Health Equity

This virtual learning series offers Coloradans a chance to share community health stories, tie them to local data, and learn how to advocate for positive change. This first 90-minute kick-off workshop will provide an overview of the CEC and use data and stories to advocate for health equity. CEC Trainers will share why data storytelling is an effective strategy, highlight how the CEC platform democratizes data for community members to find social determinants of health data, and identify ways participants can contribute community stories to the platform.

Through interactive, small group activities, participants will explore the Equity Data Navigator, view detailed health data at the census tract level in their own communities, and identify stories related to health factors that are having an impact on Coloradans.
