Democracy Day Reporting Stipends

The Center for Cooperative Media is offering micro-reporting stipends of up to $2,000 for 20+ newsrooms participating in Democracy Day by producing at least one piece of pro-democracy journalism on or slightly before Sept. 15, the International Day of Democracy.

You’ll also get access to their board of organizers to fine tune pitches, pre-read stories, make connections, and brainstorm any challenges.

Submit applications via this form by 9:59 p.m. MT June 14. Stipend notifications arrive mid-July.
