ElectionSOS has launched rapid response funding for news organizations working to sustain audience-centered election coverage. The goal of the fund is to provide support for journalists who are working to create a well-informed citizenry during post-election emergencies, fast-changing situations and risk of misinformation and disinformation. In other words, to enable reporting to support democracy and democratic processes.
Funds can go towards things like legal support, protective gear, reporting support and more. Grants range from $500 – $10,000. Apply at the link below.
