▪︎ SEPTEMBER 6 TO OCTOBER 10, 2021 ▪︎

Learn how to enhance your investigative reporting in platforms: Register for new Knight Center Big Online Course (BOC), “Investigative reporting in platforms: How to dig into social accounts, images, ads, and messaging apps.”

From Knight:

The internet is a treasure trove of information for the subjects of journalistic investigations, but only if you know where to look.

The latest Big Online Course (BOC) from the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas will show you how to dig through key digital assets to gain a clearer picture of the people you’re researching.

Craig Silverman and Jane Lytvynenko, two leading experts on online disinformation, fake news, and digital investigations, will teach the five-week course, which also focuses on workflows and organization for the information you’ll gather.

This BOC runs from September 6 to October 10, 2021, and costs $95, which includes full access to the course as well as a certificate of completion for those who meet the course requirements. “Investigative reporting in platforms: How to dig into social accounts, images, ads, and messaging apps” is asynchronous, meaning you can complete the advanced-level course materials at your own pace.
