Join PEN America Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. MT for an engaging session on how the boundaries of free speech inform the spread of false information in the digital age. In this workshop, we’ll discuss the Capitol Hill insurrection; break down the nuances of the First Amendment; and explore how community leaders, librarians, and others can use these events to inspire civil dialogue. We will also review frequently asked questions prompted by the insurrection about free expression in the digital age and which form the basis of our FAQs on the Capitol Insurrection, which we released in January. This event is co-sponsored by the EveryLibrary Institute. Visit PEN America for more information.
