The Colorado Press Association is hosting a Legislative Reception on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. This is an exclusive networking event for legislators and CPA members. It’s a great chance to introduce yourselves in person, talk about things you’re working on and discuss priorities for the upcoming session. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided.
CPA will be holding a pre-reception session from 4-5 p.m. taking a closer look at Colorado’s news ecosystem and news audiences. Attendees will be reviewing data from CODA Ventures’ statewide survey and learning more about the CO News Mapping Project and more from Melissa Davis, Director at the Colorado Media Project, and Corey Hutchins, journalism instructor at Colorado College.
When: Tuesday, January 24
– Colorado News Ecosystem and Audience Session: 4 – 5 p.m.
– Reception: 5 – 7 p.m.
Where: Buell Public Media Center, 2101 Arapahoe St., Denver
Who can attend? Typically, this event is open to CPA member editors and publishers, but we’d like to invite anyone to attend who may benefit from this networking opportunity. We would like to emphasize, though, that this is not a reporting opportunity and strictly a networking event. NOTE: This is an exclusive networking event for legislators and CPA members only.
How to register: RSVP for free here by January 18
