Apply for The Lenfest Institute‘s newest course, Introduction to Grant Writing for News Organizations! Applications are due Friday March 25, 2022 at 9:59 p.m. MDT.
This training will equip new grant writers with both skills and confidence to meet the unique challenges of raising money for news organizations.
In this five-week course you will work with experts in the field and small peer-groups to learn the science and the art of crafting competitive grant proposals. During the course you will work through each step of the grant writing process, including:
Identifying the right funding opportunities
Effectively and persuasively making your case
Developing each element of a proposal and letter inquiry
Relationship building
Led by Penn Creative Strategy, the course will meet once a week from April 28, 2022 through May 23, 2022 at 1 p.m. MTD. In order to foster an interactive and participatory environment, enrollment is limited to 30 participants. There’s no cost to participate.
