National Native Media Conference 2022

The Native American Journalists Association will host the National Native Media Conference Aug. 25-27, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. Special events and programs will also be hosted at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. NAJA will also offer content on-demand to members and attendees through a custom virtual event platform after the conference. 

NAJA will facilitate conference program sessions about best practices in Indigenous media, training and workshops to support and enhance the knowledge and skills of journalists covering Turtle Island. The conference program will feature Indigenous media professional development and address evolving COVID-19 coverage and best practices through training and workshops to support journalists covering Indigenous communities.
