Reporting on LGBTQ+ Issues

Register to attend the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Local Journalists webinar, “Reporting on LGBTQ+ Issues” on Tuesday, December 13, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (MST). 

Julie Dorf, co-chair and co-founder of the Council for Global Equality, will discuss U.S. efforts in advancing a more inclusive U.S. foreign policy on LGBTQ+ rights. Steve Rothaus, former LGBTQ+ issues reporter for the Miami Herald, will discuss reporting in a way that promotes tolerance and acceptance for LGBTQ+ individuals and communities and ensures their representation in civic discourse. A question-and-answer session will follow their remarks. Please note that the webinar will be on the record.
