News Voices: Colorado
The News Voices Colorado project seeks to transform local news so that it’s more inclusive of underrepresented communities, better supports civic engagement for all community members, and is relevant and sustainable in a digital world.
Project Goals
More local community leaders and individuals across Colorado invested in co-creating, contributing to, and sustaining a more inclusive future for trustworthy local news that better meets their needs and shared vision.
More allies contributing to a robust, inclusive, and trustworthy local news ecosystem.
Local journalists, media innovators, and allies across Colorado invested in actively listening to community members to better serve and engage local communities.
Engaging underrepresented communities and empowering them as equal participants with COLab journalists and media innovators from those communities.
